Robert Halliday (CEO) has over 30 years of engineering experience in white metal bearing fabrication and repair. We have the capacity to fabricate bearings up to 1000mm in diameter.
Bearings that witness high operating speeds and fine running tolerances demand precise attention to detail and quality during fabrication. The following services and practises can be implemented to further assist with the overall quality management for bearing fabrication and repairs;
Chemical Analysis of Metal Composites
We offer laboratory testing for the chemical analysis of white metal compositions. This can be used to notify the client what metal composition was previously used in the bearing, and to certify metal to be used for the fabrication of the bearing.
Non Destructive Testing (NDT)
Can be used to check there is sufficient bond between the white metal and the bearing shell. A certified NATA approved independent testing company can be contracted to conduct bond testing and issue the appropriate certificates.
Calibration of Measuring Equipment
Our measuring equipment is routinely calibrated to ensure the goods we are producing are within nominated specifications.
